How to fix your golf slice today
If you have every played a round of golf and watched every shot curve from left to right (right hander) then you are very familiar with the golf slice. How to do it
The key to this is practicing hitting shots or making swings on a hill with the clubhead and ball above your feet. You don’t even have to be hitting balls for this to be effective.
The most common way golfers slice the golf ball is performing an over the top golf swing.
This is when their arms become detached from the body too much and cut across the golf ball at impact.
This is why this method is so effective in curing the golf slice.
Why Does This Work?
Putting the golf ball above your feet forces you to keep your arms closer to the body and swing in a more rounded motion. This helps promote more of an inside to outside golf swing path which eliminates any sort of golf slice you might have.
Additionally it stabilizes the lower body and helps the upper body make a smooth turn back and through.
If you have ever hit shots during a round from this sort of position you would have noticed the golf ball traveled right to left or a draw ball flight.
Ideally this is the ball flight most of us golfers should be aiming for.
The golf ball travels further which results in shorter iron shots to the green.
