Putting is one of the most important parts of playing consistent, solid golf. When you add up the number putts taken during a round it makes up at least 1/3 of your total score and often more. Most amateur and beginner golfers have between 32 and 38 putts and don't practice any kind of golf putting drill to improve their putting. This is way too many and well short of the better players who average around 28 – 30 putts per round.
