How to play better golf the easy way
If you’re like I used to be and desperate to learn how to play better golf, you watch every golf swing tip online. You have probably also spent several hundred dollars on golf lessons that taught you things you have forgotten already. I know what you’re thinking … ‘if I could just find that elusive golf swing secret my golf game would be okay. Unfortunately, there are thousands of videos online dedicated to golf instruction so it’s very easy to become overwhelmed.
Additionally, there are thousands of golf instructors around the world with different methods of teaching.
The problem is, who do you listen to or which golf instruction is the best to follow?
I use the golf instruction from the Perfect Impact System and have achieved some terrific results.
It showed me how to get in the perfect impact position and make better contact with all of the clubs which lowered my scores.
The bad news is there is no right or wrong answer as different teachings work for different golfers.
What might fix your golf slice might not work for another or even make it worse!

SO WHERE DO YOU GO FROM HERE?
The good news is there is a universal truth with the golf swing that when applied correctly can get your golf scores to dramatically improve.
It’s not a special movement or even a different mindset, it’s just about the way you set up to hit the golf ball.
If you want to learn how to play better golf fast then please read on.
IT ALL BEGINS WITH THE SET-UP
To achieve any perfect movement in sport, it starts with the correct set-up. Golf is no different and it’s very difficult to perform a good golf swing without the right set-up, to begin with.
The golf swing is a chain reaction of movements and if the beginning is poor then the golf swing suffers.
Believe it or not, a correct set-up will fix a poor takeaway, swing plane, and as well as wrist hinge.
It sets the trigger in motion and if you get it right the rest of the golf swing flows smoothly.
WHAT DOES THE RIGHT GOLF SWING SET-UP LOOK LIKE?
Glad you asked because this is the good stuff! Look at the two images to the right and you will notice a couple of things. Pay particular attention to the second image (new set-up) and the angle of the shoulders, the hips tilted forward and the right knee kicked in slightly towards the target.
This set up position is often referred to as the ‘Reverse K’.
It’s the classic golf set-up position used by professional golfers.

TRAINING AIDS TO HELP GET THE REVERSE K SET-UP
The best part about learning how to play better golf with the Reverse K set-up is it’s so easy. All you really need is a mirror or even a reflection of a window. You can get fancy and use a video camera but it’s not necessary. It can be done with or without a golf club.
Stand up to the mirror/window so you can see your whole body.
Tilt your left shoulder up slightly and raise your left hip (perform the opposite for left-handers).
Your head is positioned just slightly behind where the golf ball would be.
You should have an equal amount of weight on both legs.
WHY THE REVERSE K WORKS?
When you are set up in this position a lot of good things happen in the golf swing. Firstly, it enables the club to travel back on the correct path and it ensures your club remains on plane at the top.
Finally, it helps you turn better and hit the golf from the inside which produces the ideal right to left draw ball flight.
If you want to learn how to play better golf then applying the Reverse K to your golf set up is the best move you can make.
It costs you nothing and can be implemented in seconds with instant results.
Where to next
Practice this at home until it feels comfortable and take it to the golf driving range and hit some full-distance shots.
The results will amaze you!
Let me know how it goes and what sort of results you get?
I would love to hear from you!
